ANCIENT POSSE - Accepting fate can feel so inadequate sometimes. In the case of Des Moines based synth duo Ancient Posse, such soul searching was exactly the primal spark needed to set two disparate souls rolling toward each other from opposite ends of the universe. In 2014, Kamillah Jonaé (lead vocals) had lived all the Texas life she could muster, and following a harrowing chain of events, found herself right back where her life began: Des Moines, Iowa. At the same time, Steven Bergeron (keys, production, vocals) was finally emerging from a deep isolation brought on by anxiety and illness. The two found each other haunting the same dark bars and lonely skywalks.
CALEB CONDIT is an electronic musician influenced equally by Chicago house, juke, dub, and deep soul cuts. The current live show is an attempt to take the years of studio sessions and bring out an improvised and live feel that’s equal parts headphone bliss and dance party.

Beginning as campfire jam, this jug-less Jug-Grass adventure quickly blazed an unrivaled path through the local Pennsylvanian bar and festival scene, scooping up and dropping off many a rambler and a gambler, leaving only to shape it’s current, touring, name-droppin’, finger poppin’ line-up of Uncle Jake & the 18 Wheel Gang.
UJ18 is Brady James (guitar/suitcase), Lefty Wilson (three-jo), Stove (claw-jo), Brandon Reber (washboard), Zak (mandolin), and Kyle (upright bass).
The Gang can be seen performing songs that have traditionally been originals, alongside some more tunes that are originally traditionals that can be heard reverberating out of the heart of most town and city folk alike, from any mountain tavern, campfire, or late night stage across this side of the continent
Laurel & the Love-In came together piece by piece, soldiering on until they found each other in Nashville in 2015. The common love of early rock and roll are what brought them together, but it’s their wide array of influences that help them to stand out. Their fusion of raw blues, rock and roll guitar solos, and 1960s girl-group inspired harmonies help them create a sound that is entirely their own. The band consists of lead singer and pianist Laurel Sorenson, Krista Hess on guitar, background vocalist Veronica Selby, drummer Michael Rasile, and keyboardist Sarah Bernstein.

DICKIE (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), veteran tunesmith Dick Prall, has created a collection of dark, gorgeous, and oft-times moony sing-alongs on his fifth full-length release. Now brandishing the childhood moniker his recently-passed mother had given him, the self-titled record comes in like a bellowing newborn, but settles into a pace of dynamic ebb and flow as it ages and ends with a Roy Orbison-styled recount of hopeful love that never bleeds into the saccharine. http://dickiemusic.com/

DAN TEDESCO ( Des Moines, Iowa)
My story is…..that I have no story, per se. I come from a solid family. It’s a point of pride. I grew up in the far west suburbs of Chicago. My folks weren’t rich, but there wasn’t much that I was left wanting. I’ve never been arrested. Always got good grades. I never developed any major drug addictions (at least, not yet). The only serious addiction in my life, if you’d like to call it that, has been with music. Let me bring you up to speed.
